Valance
Curtain valance come in many shapes headings and finishings, suitable headings include, standard pencil pleat, pinch pleat, goblet pleat, ruche or box pleat.
Most valances lend themselves to fringe or a contrast edge, which then defines the finished drop, straight or shaped.
Swags and tails are also classed as a valance finish even though they are more ornate; they serve the same purpose and frame your window treatment.
